| Cooking - Mushroom and chick pea curry |
Class 13 learnt to cook mushroom and chick pea curry on October 10th.
We cooked it from scratch, which included learning to cut an onion properly, slicing mushrooms and crushing garlic.
Lots of us hadn't tasted chick peas before and were surprised by how tasty they are!
Everyone got to take home a big portion of curry and brown rice & our parents were very impressed with our new skills!

| Warning Zone Trip |
Class 13 had a fantastic and very informative trip to the brand new Warning Zone at Frog Island. This amazing resource helped the children to think about the dangers of building sites, house fires, arson, under age drinking, taking short cuts, playing on railway lines, electricity sub stations and many other day to day situations.
As Warning Zone has just reopened after a move and a massive refurbishment, Class 13 were also lucky enough to be interviewed for local TV and radio stations!
They learnt a lot and had a great morning all round!
